Preserving and Protecting the Environment
Minimizing our impact on the environment is a mission we take to heart at FedEx. As a company dependent upon transportation, it’s particularly important for us to stay at the cutting edge of environmental practices. That’s why we are constantly working to create and implement groundbreaking technologies that change the way business is conducted. We are continually and rapidly transitioning to greener practices in all of our operations. Through innovation, we can continue to provide citizens of the world life-changing access to information, goods and ideas, while simultaneously protecting and preserving the resources of the global community we serve.
Our Commitment to Preserve and Protect
Environmental concerns shape the way we do business at every level, greatly exceeding what is mandated by environmental regulations. Our proactive stance on environmental initiatives is the reason why the Council on Economic Priorities’ Corporate Responsibility Profile for the Environment ranks FedEx among the best Fortune 500 companies.
